Connect at Lunch
This is a great way to build your network in a comfortable, relaxed environment. You have to eat lunch anyway, so why not make some new friends and business contacts while you’re at it? This event moves to a different restaurant each month, giving us the opportunity to support and experience a variety of locations owned by fellow Chamber members. There is no cost to participate in Connect at Lunch, except for what you pay for your lunch.
Lunch & Learn
This is a great opportunity to learn something, with a little networking on the side. Past seminars have included marketing tips, how to get government contracts, and taking charge of your investments. Check out “Upcoming Events” (scrolling to the left of this text) to see what we’ve got coming up and to register. It costs $300 to sponsor this event to provide food and beverages to the members that will be present for the event. Look below for more information on scheduling events.
Networking Mixers
Starting at $500 for businesses, mixers are generally scheduled every 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month (with a couple of exceptions). Salinas is a town built upon relationships, and many of those relationships start at the Chamber’s Networking Mixers. The atmosphere is laid-back and mellow, so if you’re not comfortable with the whole “networking” thing, you should try ours out. We have an active volunteer group (the Ambassadors) who make you feel welcome and who connect you with people who can help you achieve your goals. Sometimes, we hold Joint Mixers in conjunction with other local Chambers of Commerce. Again, check out “Upcoming Events” to see where the next mixer will be.
Ribbon Cuttings
Generally held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, these are a wonderful way to tell the community that you are open and ready for business! Whether it is a new location, re-opening, or Grand opening, we are always ready to help a member host a ribbon cutting! Ribbon cuttings start at $250, and members at the MARKETER level and above are entitled to one free ribbon cutting per year.

Annual Events
Annual Awards Luncheon
The Annual Awards Luncheon is the Salinas Valley Chamber's largest annual event, with over 500 attendees. In addition to our recognizing standout businesses and individuals in our community, it's a premier networking event because 'everyone goes.' This event always sells out, so you're wise for booking early! The luncheon also serves as our Annual Membership Meeting, where you will be introduced to Chamber staff and our Board of Directors.
Legacy of Leadership Gala
Held in September, the Legacy of Leadership Gala provides the opportunity to acknowledge those people within our community who truly exemplify what it means to be a leader. During our gala, we also raise money through a lively auction, to help give back and support our community.
